just started reading it myself...but sounds like their going down the ncaa route....well, kind of.

sounds like there'll be no need to use other sites to manage online frans....looks like it will all be handled in game. Now, how long have we been asking for that one!

Online fran. commish.'s will need to decide on whether or not a league will be open to playing it as players &/or coaches....and like ncaa, coaches can get fired etc...a bit like the ncaa coaching carousel.

Sounds good but maybe better suited for frans. with lesser #'s involved.

lol Will suck to be the skins or saints...RL traded future draft picks look like they will also automatically apply in online frans.

They seem very low compared to recent years. The 49ers are only a couple of points higher than where they started in Madden 12.

The lions seem way too low and skins way too high for me.

^ agree. So who all here is planning on getting Madden 13? and will the league continue on in 13 or 12?

I plan on getting it just about as soon as it comes out as I have stockpiled $75 in gift cards for my birthday over the past years. haha.

Raides go 8-8 and are so low maybe becuase we dont have a top QB or RB ???

.. I love the Ravens rating being lower than the Steelers, so we go further into Playoffs than them AND do the double over them.. Crazy..

My bet is these rating change on full release of the game and change quite quickly once the season get going and updates are done.

its always tricky on when to start a Madden season when a new game is out so you get all the trades and the players proper ratings aligned once they start playing

Can't believe Chiefs are only 76. I know we did not have a great season last year but we still have a talented squad hit by injuries

Aren't the overall ratings just the average of the players ratings on the teams?

The key descision will be when to start the new franchise. If we give it a couple of weeks the team's scores will fluctuate (I cant see teams like the Bucs and Bengals being that low after a couple of weeks of the season)

Yeah, so whats the plan on when Madden 13 Franchise will start. Will you wait for the majority to buy the game, wait until like week 2 or 3 of the real NFL season or something else?
Just curious really.

I'd say a couple of weeks after the game release or when the season starts.

I'll start a thread closer to game release to gauge what people think.
